It contains all natural ingredients so you don't have to worry about damaging chemicals.
We do use the preservative Optiphen to extend the shelf life and avoid the growth of bacteria or mold. It is a paraben and formaldehyde-free preservative. It consists of Phenoxyethanol and Caprylyl Glycol. The Caprylyl Glycol is essentially a carrier base for the Phenoxyethanol.
